She has a great cover shot that sure attracted a lot of attention as a lot of non-chinese ppl were picking it up, commenting on it and taking it away without reading. Story was about the pagent, but also about the controversy last year about vote fixing. Also gives an update on what the contestants are now doing. Will be posting a scan of this soon.

this mag is FREE! i received it in the mail and i live in vancouver, although it says $4.50 on the cover, all my neighbours and i received it for free..so check in your mail befoh buying!!

I think only if you live in the "West Side" of Vancouver (as opposed to East Vancouver or West End) then they deliver the mag to your mailbox for free (Probably those are their targeted demographics). |

It all depends on your postal code. I moved from one postal code on the west side to another "more expensive" code, and started getting Vancouver magazine for free.
They want to be able to tell there advertisers that people with a high average income read their magazine.
