i think the important thing if she want to be an actress or model or a performer that is, that she has a good basic complexion and face and facial features as a base, so when makeup gets applied or taken off, she could turn it "on" or "off" and play any roles she wanted to play.
e.g. she should with the art of makeup, be either the good gurl, bad gurl, evil pregnant dog, innocent gurl, plain-Jane factory gurl, party gurl, glamour gurl, sophisticated lady, look younger, older, desperate, cool, snobbish, etc.
otherwise, if u have the kind of face and features that is unchangeable, u will be type-casted for good... as in peg as honest, innocent, sexy, wutever... ;D
she would be considered sucessful if the same gurl, with different makeup, that the people would hate her, love her, think she is innocent, pregnant dogy, sexy, witch, etc... that mean she would have accomplished the act of changing into whatever image she want you to see her as!

that van mag cover look of Lora certainly has an "attitude" may not be the look that guys go for, and parents who want their daughters to look like, nor the look teenage gurls would look up to as the beauty pageant look to aspire to... ur average rebellious teenager (not the usual cute luving asian teenager) may like that cover look, and say "kewl !" but hey, she's 19 now... she can experiement with any look for fun, and see what the reactions are. if there are reactions period, it is a succuess in her book - and movie makers, fairchild, magazines and sponsors would know what to do with the reactions data, to transform lora into how they want her to be to be in their commercials, ads, cover girl, spokesperson, movie, etc. what they fear is no reactions, then they could considered lora a "dud" then - someone who could not stimulate the market's imagination, etc for example, #6 susan has a very "nice gurl" and "innocently sweet or cute" look... the kind of ads or commercials or movie role offers to her potentially could be limited for her  although with todays image consultants working on the models, they could do unexpected magic... |
