according to the recent news and pictures... new york , johanesberg, hk and calgary are the "black house" for this year... so far my favorite is calgary ! but, honestly, although she's pretty, i feel that she doesnt have the winner look !!!!!any body agree with me ? johanesberg have pretty high chance to win the pageant this year... NY might get into top5 however... this year's contestants are all outstanding ..... but the performence of the finnal night is the most important point for them to win the pageant !!! WISH THEM GOOD LUCK !!!

This really might be the one of the strongest batches of MCI EVER. All these girls are absolutely stunning with great figures, beauty, and education. My favorites after seeing the Press Conference pics have to be Torronto and New York. They are absolutely BEAUTIFUL. San Francisco has wowed me as well. Calagary is no doubt very pretty but she has too much sex appeal. I highly doubt she will place very high due to that. Aimee looks decent but doesn't stand out. I'm not understanding the hype on Auckland and Johannesburg. Sydney is pretty as well but I'm waiting for her official pic to come out to judge.

Oooh! The first ten pictures look so good! LOL, kiki you totally nailed it when you said Calgary has too much sex appeal. Maybe its her long wavy hair?

Any information about who will be this year's judges? Their preferences are crucial for the final night. I hope the judge panel is mainly from Hong Kong and not from China. I am concern that the mainlanders may be too political.

haha, the "elbow queen". but if she is going to be in the pageant, I wouldn't exactly want her to win, she seems a bit "too" competitive. lol. After seeing the first official pic, which is New York, she seems like the one to beat, and she also has the MCI "winner" look. But I still have to wait till all the official pics come out and see what happens. yea agree... she might not be d prettiest out there (subjective opinion) esp given the competition this yr.. but she do hav the winner look.

I find that Miss Hong Kong this year is so stunning... I think she does have a chance to place among the top 3 and she is more deserving than some of the previous Miss HK that placed in the top 3.
Miss Johannesburgh looks too plain.

Miss Johannesburgh looks too plain. Aimee Chan in real person looks much better than shown on these pictures. I am sure she would do well in this MCI pageant. With her Canadian backgroud and fluent in English she should have fun and maintain a good relationship with all the girls. Wish her all the best of luck.

Singapore has a very open face.
Tahiti is cute.
Chicago looks gorgeous.
HK is sweet.
But then again, you can't really judge by face alone...

I think Singapore looks more like Ina than her sister does. I did not watch MCI2006, how was Ina's performance last year? I don't understand the media hype on Ivy Lui, 1st RU Miss South Africa 2005 and sister of Ina. Based on the picture I have seen, she is just about average. All the girls are winners of their own region pageants, the quality should not be an issue. I think their performance of the night would be the determining factor for the winner. Furthermore, do anybody know how to get information regarding Miss South Africa Pageant? Please let me know. Thanks.
