Is it just me, or is there a pattern? This year there's about 21 contestants, last year's was 17, but the year before that there was 22. Are some cities only competing every other year?
I hear there's going to be a contestant coming in from mainland China.

based on the photos: Miss HK, Calgary, New York, Sydney, and of course Vancouver are my top picks for now. Nanning isn't too bad as well.

Yvonne chapman looks really nice..but I know traditionally in HK, they didn't like girls who have done sexy photoshoots ..and Yvonne did a set of Maxim photoshoot and was Maxim covergirl in asia....
I hope that wont deter her from placing top 3.

I have a feeling that Bankok will place again. She has a "foreign" look that tvb likes.

May I know the date for MCI 2007? is seemed like is on 20th January 2007,
But it seemed crash with the big event live below. from astro malaysia.

This year I'm rooting for HK, Vancouver, Toronto and New York...
If Miss Hk didn't have negative press (ie. about her chest enlargement) i think she has a good chance in placing this year. Vancouver and Toronto seems to be head to head... i find them both kinda similiar.... i watched both MCV and MCT, and both the girls were very calm and does QnA very well. New York, i didn't see her performace, but just by the picture, i think she would win something!
All the girls are soo tall this year, if the MC is Eric Tsang again, the girls would look like giants standing next to him!
