yes I do think it's kenny. back in the old misshkbeauties forum he said something about vancouver grasping the chance to host MCI. I don't think it's possible. As for my favorites...
Vancouver(that's how you spell it kenny) Toronto Hong Kong
1st Hong Kong 2nd:Toronto 3rd Vancouver

Let¡¦s spear this news to other country.
Others country have equal opportunity to organize Miss Chinese International Pageant 2006, especially Vancouver which is the winner. Other country , please do not let TVB Hong Kong to be the king of everything, including the judges, date, cloths, stage, program flow.
TVB always choose the cloths especially swimsuit that best suite that year MHK representative size. They will ask MHK representative to try to wear that year swimsuit cloths fist or other clots, if look good, and then take it. Because TVB want MHK representative to look good and extra good compare to others, NOT FAIR> If that year MHK representative do not have talent, then that year MCI no talent competition part. If that year MHK representative can sing well, then have singing competition. Just that simple what TVB want to win,.

If that is true, then how come Hong Kong hasn't won too many for the past couple years, maybe there IS a little preference for MHK, but overall it has to be pretty fair or else people from other countries will obviously complain. And since the winner of MCI usually ends up working with TVB, it makes mroe sense if TVB wants the best from the different countries, and not just MHK, cause what if MHK sucks and is not that great, then she will ruin TVB series.

To "R", what do you mean by " Are you sure? Miss Vancouver is won very year because is deserve to win , look at the history bellow, had prove it. 1995 Halina TAM Siu-Wan get top5, but Miss Friendship is NOT HK 1996 MHK did not manage to get top 5, but Miss Friendship is MHK 1997 MHK is 2nd runner up, but Miss Friendship is NOT MHK 1998 MHK is top 5(sensitive issue because Yung Ka Sui is one¡¦s wife) 1999 MHK is 2nd runner up, But Miss Friendship is NOT MHK 2000 MHK is winner, but Miss Friendship is NOT MHK 2001 MHK is 2nd runner-up, but Miss Friendship is NOT MHK 2002 MHK get top 5 only, but HAVE another award Miss Modern China 2003 MHK is 1st runner-up, but Miss Friendship is NOT MHK 2004 MHK is 1st runner ¡Vup and also Miss Friendship (the most greedy) 2005 MHK is top 5, didn¡¦t get top 3, BUT get a special award. Others countries should have equal chances to held such a world class pagenat. Please make it fair and i do not want to see HK represent get any advantages from it. After reading above post, have a big sense of it.

Since this is Miss Chinese, wouldn't it make sense if the one of the best chinese ladies are from the place with the most chinese girls? Hong Kong has way more chinese people than any other city that's in this competition, it would make sense if their chinese ladies are the best. So what if the MHK IS good enough to be top 5 every year, should they purposely put her lower just so people don't complain? You know this is MCI, its been ran for alot of years, so if HK really does rig it, it would be in newspaper alot, and alot of complaints would be filed, so i truly believe this contest overall is fair, whoever is 1st place can arguably be one of the best...

The representative for bangkok has been selected. I think she is the prettiest delegate for mci so far. Hope her proficiency in chinese will not be the factor that let her down just like what happen to delegates from thailand in the previous year. To see pics of miss bangkok, go to www.missosology.org/forum/
