Hope Miss Melbourne can make it to the top 3. Then, she can show the whole world that short girls also have elegance and style.
I think Miss Johnnesburg or Manila will win (just a guess).

Miss Hong Kong sure win!!! Why?  Because: 1. held in Hong Kong 2. Held by TVB 3. Speak cantonese 4. based on past year, every year also win .......lots more....internet ppl Ask a question, why when during TVB send 1st runner up of Miss Hong Kong to Miss World, did not win? (based on past year title) and also 2nd runner up to Miss International also lose up? BECAUSE IS NOT ORGANISE BY TVB........simple answer. |

This yr is a tough yr to decide who's gonna win. This is my prediction:
Winner: HK
1st runners up: Toronto
2nd runners up: KL
Top five: Vancouver and Manila

I know MCV and MCNY seems like the dark horses of the competition, and they don't get as much attention from the media, but i just see something in those girls! I see that MCI poise, and elegance. MCT like most people say lacks that poise. MCT is indeed very pretty, and i think she'll get the photogenic award, but i don't know if she has the entire package to take the crown. MHK i love how she is soo tall, but when i see her photos and interviews, she seems very fake (as in everything she answers seems very rehearsed.) Just beacause the pageant is host in her city doesn't always mean she has an advantage. I would think people would expect more from her, so tougher on her part to perform her best.

i was surprised to see kuala lumpur t be in top 5 and when it was announced that she finished 3rd i got the shock of my life. She is the least sophiscated, one of the less beautiful and shorter delegate, how did she make it?

most surprising year ever... omg... at first I thought that Canada was going to win all the awards... First = Toronto Second = Montreal Third = Vancouver... but then Montreal's out... so I expected Vancouver to be second... but not one them got onto top 3... most surprising ever... I'm not saying that the winner isn't pretty... but it's just that... there are prettier candidates... and... people are saying that Toronto doesn't have enough knowledge... but if she's too young to win, they should change the age limit... so then it would be fair for them...

It's not toronto didn't have enough knowledge, it's she's just not sophiscated, and well bred period. Couldn't complete highschool, couldn't write well in english, can't articulate herself. She's not even that good looking in real life, she looks like girls u can see from K-bars and stuff; not classy at all. Her only strength in terms of accomplishment is dancing, which is pretty impressive....in other aspects, she has a lot to work on.....
oh and she needs to learn how to phrase her sentence, and choose her diction more appropriately.
I'm sure that's what the judges see too. Elva doesn't appeal to the older generation's definition of beauty, she's no where near close.
