Unfair(MHK winner of talent on 8-1-2005)

as everyone can read the news, it seemed unfair,

The judges are MCI2005, leanne Li, she is now under TVB contract and work with TVB. definetly help TVB people.

And guess who is the winner? no need to say also MHK. again.

I read the newspaper report, they did said someone is doing the correct marks.
The newspaper said that M Tracy didnt perform well, I would rather perfer Miss New York, where she perform a Chinese Kong Fu.

We were not there so it would be unfair to say that the results were biased. Although Chinese kungfu sounds entertaining but to say who should win, we must be there to witness the whole event or to see if the performance fits the purpose of the award. Rapping should be able to deliver a better message as an pottery ambassador (note that the award is not just "Talent award").

does anyone know how the others performed? seeing how the papers only mention NY, then the others where probably not too impressive, so from this we can crudely guess that it was really between NY and HK, one was action the other was speech/rap so who would be a better ambassador? but as Tyler said we were not there so we cant jus make assumptions like what i jus wrote

so what u are sayin is nobody is this world can be impartial! i think its quite an attack and insult to say that about Leanne about anyone without even knowin them personally! additionally she could not have been the only judge, so to single her out just coz she's the only judge we kno of is unfair!

To mike, i dont think Leanne Li will be the judges of MCI 2006, because that day, she will usually sit beside TVB boss(a quite old man), and have to perform the crown to new winner. So, she will not be judges of MCI 2006.

But dont worry, MHK will definetly in top 3, haha, for sure. because all the judges is determine by TVB own people.

they been told that they have to present something a week ago the show must represent their city or themself. the show must be 10 mins and one mins to explain what they were doing.. miss NY really did do well and impressive.. she realy trys hard and she is clearly the best on the day by far. most of the people who is watching it cheer for her name... but select MHK make sence... because she is base in HK.. HK people know her and if she need to be there to promote the pottery it is easy to get hold of her... ( this is my guess hope this dont offence anyone)

I think Mandy did this tai chi thing for her talent in MCI if I remember correctly.

Personally I think Tracy is a pretty strong contestant (and I am disregarding the fact that she is MHK). I like her better than the past few MHKs. She's also had pageant experience in Miss World and put HK back on the map in these large scale pageants.

I watched the entertaiment news shown in HK at 02.30pm, date is 27-12-2005, where they interview Linda Chung, MCI 2004 winner.

The most interesting part is she said during MCI 2004 (which is same year as Mandy Co), for talent show part, whether which talent is performed is determined by TVB ppl. Because Linda Chung said that she want to sing song, but then other participant already choose sing songs, TVB in order want to get more veiwer, thus, ask Linda Chung to perform another kind of talent show.
I just dont understand, talent show also determined by TVB ppl...............what is the point having a beauty pageant contest?

for this year each of them were told to prepare for 3 different talents to show tvb and tvb will help them to deside which one to perform on stage.. so in a way they do have their choice....
