Wassup with Lora Sun (MCV05 1st Runner Up) Lately !? First year UBC is almost out for Lora, after exams are over. Apprently she was in 2 versions of a TV commercial shot for Senniyo Beauty and Figure Salon (The sponsor who gave her the "Miss Perfect Figure" side award). One version was in Cantonese, and another version in Mandarin. Fairchild TV also shot a Music Video with her and Alex and Jermey from the Sunshine Boyz 05 in it. I have not figure out when or where the music video is being aired, but lucky one of the SSBoyz posted it up on YouTube. miss vancouver 2005 was just terrible she is so freaking ugly wat the hell was wrong with the judges ???omg ... $%#$@& the Vancouver magazine questioned whether there were smell of a conspiracy by the HK judges to prevent Vancouver from winning 5 years in a row at MCI 2006, by putting Crystal in the first spot even though she did not quite have the "whole" package nor was she the "type"... So Crystal is all but really "disappeared" from the scene and the media all together, beside appearing shortly in a series of official functions right after the pageant that she had to attend (only briefly mentioned in TV and mags as short news item and clip), and guest appearance in one charity event where Fairchild said she could be alright to appear. It appears many other contestants, winners, runners up or NOT, have significantly more air-time or TV or public appearance or even Internet exposure than the supposedly "winner" of Miss Chinese Vancouver 2005! Guess what the 3 HK judges indirectly did for Crystal does not help Crystal one bit (other than get Crystal a trip to HK's MCI), if the rest of the world does not concurred with the final decision in their guts (without saying anything out loud) - reality is we all know who ultimately have the highest profile exposures overall from Fairchild and public appearance point of view, and from the sponsors, that contestant would actually be the "de facto" or "effective" winner of the Miss Chinese Vancouver 2005 in most people mind, no matter what the judges decisions or official stats were... |

honestly have ANY of you seen Lora in real life.. SERIOUSLy.. you NEED to see her in real life to SEE that she DOESN'T look good.. I wonder what you really meant by seeing Lora in "Real Life" !? There are some girls with faces that are "Hard-Wired" Ugly, and some are "Hard-Wired" pretty, all the time... even with makeup and clothes, these particular girls can not get away from their overall ugliness or prettiness... their look is typecasted for good. It is something special, on the other hand, that a girl have a basically good figure and symmetrical facial features, and that these type of girl's face can be made up into any look that a photographer or movie director is looking for, or a girl can dress up or down, or put on light to specialty makeup to suite the occasion!  Lora have to function in school life as well as within the entertainment industry, so she has to be able to dress down with very light makeup like a student to blend in without causing a fuzz in lecture halls! Her "student look" is not too sexy or pretty that all the guys would hit on her, which suite her purpose just fine (if student life and hanging out with buds are qualify as "real life")...  |

these pictures are from shows, not real/daily life. Not the first two pics. Those are real and regular life photos for sure shot by her buddies. u can find those pics on friendster.  The next five photos appeared to be screen captures from the City Express tv show, but I have seen Lora wearing those exact clothes in real life, may not have the hair and makeup done professionally by Fairchild on those occasions. The last pic she's in a fashion show - not regular everyday life clothing or makeup for sure, but still a photo unrelated to the pageant itself - a glimpse of Lora outside of the pageant. |
