Most girls don't have stunning skin without makeup. If they do, it's a God-blessed gift. So I don't think you should judge her too harshly. Beauty and attractiveness should not be based solely on her face. Other influences contribute to the charm factor. For example, she has some lady-like accomplishments, such as traditional dancing, and she does persent herself rather gracefully on stage at her age. And, education, plus mannerism are all within the package.

well.. it's cuz the commerical sells her body and not her face. shame on you, lala!!!
now that we know who ur mom is... SY, and ur mom's organization is the one who awarded Lora Sun the "Miss Perfect Figure" award... what ur doing is effectively putting cold water on ur mom's choice as their current model for advertising her firm...
also ur choice of wording is very poor - Lora is not "selling" her body, but using her already decent figure to serve as an advertized "projection" of what women who would purchase the services of ur mom's firm could potentially achieve.
while we all know canada have free speech guranteed under the charter of rights, u could still use some judgement in saying or hinting what ur saying. besides, all women have to deal with bad or "horrible" skin issues at one or many points in their lives, and in fact that's the biz of ur mom's firm as well, the fact that ur bringing it up and pointing it out explicitly makes one wonder what your agenda is.
agree!! I am a friend of Lora Sun. In fact she does have very smooth skin, just that her skin is very sensitive, so too much make up reali harms her skin. Lala, it's reali ironic because Lora has to put on make up which is bad for her skin in order to look pretty on camera for ur mom's commercial, and ur the one who is picking on Lora's skin, shame on u.

I don't think she looks pretty at all, make up or no make up, and you guys can think she is a natural beauty. yes, Lala, we've been hearing you and your opinions loud and clear, in fact, you have been using any means you know how to make your point, including some low blows like picking on her * horrible skin * the fact is, most people are not her boyfriends, non of us have any interest in fantasizing whether she really have smooth or good condition skin underneath that beauty she "projects", or whether that beauty she "projects" is 100% natural or just an exquisite works of art by her own makeup skills, or by a professional makeup artist. we do not have to wakeup every morning seeing Lora with no makeup on. if one of us is her boyfriend and we love her for her true self, and that means her *whole package*, beauty, attitude, brains, talents, sense of humour, warts, blemishes and all, who cares about those little details? People are not shallow, and go "Eeew, she's not perfect, nor is she a natural beauty!? now my fantasy of her is busted..." pleease! we're not naive, we know that most beauty are not natural, and that most women are not blessed with natural perfect looks or good condition skin, most are discovered as having beauty potential by others, and are encouraged to join a beauty pageant so they can be made to look glamorous. as long as we like the girl and her attitude and what she stands for and projects, who cares if some parts of her is not perfect, and that she needs some help to get the job done!? so, Lora, natural beauty, perfect skin or not, we like you and the beauty that you projects, whether that be skin deep beauty, or the beauty of your attitude, or the beauty of your figure, hair, whatever. just keep on trucking, and be the confident and beautiful person that is really inside you, and let that beauty radiates outward from within, we want to see the "glow" from you!

Okay, I formally apologize to Lora and all her supporters on behalf of both myself and my cousin (we both go by the name "Lala" on this forum"), for all mean and *low* comments we have said. Although we are just expressing our opinions of this contestant, we got a little carried away. (perhaps because we both read the article in the Vancouver Sun.. the way the magazine seems to degrade Crystal and promote Lora really infuriated us.) and we got sort of defensive of Crystal since we both think she is very beautiful both inside and outside, and *although msot people think Lora is very pretty, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we must disagree* So we formally apologize to everyone because LOL our grade 9 exams are coming up and we have no time to think of some more *low blows* to attack her with *haha jkjk*

There is hope for Lala, for recognizing the fact that she and her friend are both transferring their "anger" toward one magazine's seemingly "unbalanced" portrayal of Crystal Li relative to Lora, onto Lora Sun personally. This level of honesty, and clarity in seperating feelings and not always unfairly lump everything together or easily jump to conclusions, is never too early or late, irregardless of your age, and is to be commended.

Lora Sun was in a fashion show at the Aberdeen Mall a couple of weeks back, and the show was just aired on Fairchild TV. Lora is sure looking very confidenent and relaxed, and at total ease on the catwalk runway. She's a natural!
Peral and Loretta, as well as 2005 Sunshine Boyz Felix are all looking good, too.

Original Website address of: don.mickysoft.org/lora (NO LONGER WORKS!!! )... the owner of that domain most likely has NOT continued to pay the fees to renew that domain, so as a FREE subdomain user (leech) of that domain, I am just out of luck... (Sorry I did not have time to keep this hobby website up-to-date... even though I got more recent photos and videos not posted up yet...)

miss vancouver 2005 was just terrible she is so freaking ugly wat the hell was wrong with the judges ???omg ... $%#$@& the Vancouver magazine questioned whether there were smell of a conspiracy by the HK judges to prevent Vancouver from winning 5 years in a row at MCI 2006, by putting Crystal in the first spot even though she did not quite have the "whole" package nor was she the "type"... So Crystal is all but really "disappeared" from the scene and the media all together, beside appearing shortly in a series of official functions right after the pageant that she had to attend (only briefly mentioned in TV and mags as short news item and clip), and guest appearance in one charity event where Fairchild said she could be alright to appear. It appears many other contestants, winners, runners up or NOT, have significantly more air-time or TV or public appearance or even Internet exposure than the supposedly "winner" of Miss Chinese Vancouver 2005! Guess what the 3 HK judges indirectly did for Crystal does not help Crystal one bit (other than get Crystal a trip to HK's MCI), if the rest of the world does not concurred with the final decision in their guts (without saying anything out loud) - reality is we all know who ultimately have the highest profile exposures overall from Fairchild and public appearance point of view, and from the sponsors, that contestant would actually be the "de facto" or "effective" winner of the Miss Chinese Vancouver 2005 in most people mind, no matter what the judges decisions or official stats were... oh my god i totally agree...if lora entered the international thing i know she'd win sumthing...and maybe the judges didn't want her to represent vancouver cuz she might win again...but i mean who cares vancouver deserves it....vancouver's the best place in the world and we hav a lot of talented gurls like bernice and linda....lol anyways i hope the miss vanouver 2006 doesn't turn out as bad as last year...god i'm still mad about the lora thing...i'll always hate crystal!!!!
