What a competitive year! There are so many beauties! Earlier, I felt Miss USA’s best placement will be top 10. But, with Michael Cinco doing his magic and sponsoring, I can see USA making it to top 5! I hope that we will finally break the five year drought of missing the top 5!

Who will be the Ruthie this year??

I checked my predictions list, interestingly, I picked most of the favorites to make top 16! I know there will be one or more that will miss the cut but I can’t narrow it down.
If I had to pick one... I think the Ruthie will be one or more of the following:

Thailand - beautiful face but her body... even if her interview is amazing, I can’t find an excuse to overlook the body because swimsuit competition is such an integral part of the pageant.

Philippines - Pretty face but her performance didn’t have much shine/wow factor. I still think her sash and franchise fees will get her in but I wouldn’t be surprised if she misses the cut.

Brazil - I feel so sad about this one. She is stunning and has the IT factor. But why did she wear that gown?? She can barely walk in it. I am surprised by the Miss Brazil org. Are they expecting a placement simply because they pay high franchise fees? During the year where I want Brazil to make the cut, the rep. is not as prepared... what can I say? I think she should make it based on body, face, and interview though.

Paraguay - she has the face, prelims performance, body, English! But, with a weak sash.. I am worried that she will be excluded. Nevertheless, I think she will make it far if she places.

Colombia - I doubt Colombia will be excluded even with a not so confident performance in preliminaries. She has the body, catwalk, amazing gown, and English hence I think she should be safe.
