Ok, since it's so late in NY here, I'll just copy and paste my predictions that I wrote in Chinese to here. I also wrote some commentary about the pageant and the girls this year. I basically wrote in Chinese because of the readers in Baidu. The Baidu MSHK forum is still more active than the board here......
Anyway, the quality of this year's girls has to be the lowest since 2010! Even the hot favorites (namely 1, 4, 12, and 7) seem to be non competitive if they competed in another year (i.e. 2013). And the other girls (even the cold doors) have massive potential. This year will be interesting. It will really depend on their final performance tonight.
My final predictions are:
Winner : 1
1st RU : 4
2nd RU: 7
3rd RU : 9
5th to 12th place：11, 12, 10, 3, 5, 6, 2, 8
Miss Photogenic : 4 (seemingly the most facially beautiful girl this year, followed by 7, and 11's smile).
Miss International Goodwill (if they have it..) : 9
Miss Friendship was given out to #5 earlier. I picked #12 for the award.
#7 got to try on the crown. Hopefully she can broke the curse just like how Anne Heung did in 1998!! Or Skye Chan in 2008!! I thought 5, 8, or 2 would get to try on the crown. Oh well lol.
I wish all the girls their best of luck!! If I have time after watching the pageant, I'll post more commentary of the girls, the results, and my commentary below.
今年真是很難選。。今年可以說是自2010年以來質素最低的一年。大熱如果在其他年份參加可能不會是大熱。其他的佳麗（包括冷門）也有潛力所以賽果真的取決於今晚他們的表現！
雖然我覺得TVB應該會給我們驚喜但是最後我還是這樣選：
冠軍：1號 (如果她進4強的話，但是TVB 會不會玩驚喜??)
亞軍：4號 (如果她進4強，應該會拿獎。不過不知她的新聞會不會影響她？）
季軍：7號 (不知道試戴后冠後會不會對她有影響？）
殿軍: 9號 (還是覺得她有表演力，還有機會進top 3)
最上鏡小姐：4號 （還是覺得她是今年最上鏡，其次是7號。黑馬是11號的笑容）
國際親善小姐 （如果有）：9號
第五至第十二名：11, 12, 10, 3, 5, 6, 2, 8
11號有可能殺入4強因為她的才藝觀眾應該喜歡。但是她問答好像沒有9和7號大體（大方）。其實4號的口才我也替她擔心但是她的才藝太強！4強應該沒問題。
12號的才藝很special. 2015的Miss America 冠軍和2015美國華裔小姐冠軍都有表演杯子歌！她會不會也拿到這些luck??? 我們也看看觀眾喜不喜歡！
10號的piano talent 也是很強。3號有身高和樣子都ok 但是港人可能覺得她比較內地一點。
5號的魔術表演有potential。
6號參選後可以試試演戲。我祝2號和8號 good luck. 我知道她們很聰明（8號讀香港大學）但是我覺得她們還要進步)。
最後祝福他們good show, may the best girl win!!!
