Just curious, is contestant #10 Elli a mix? I know it's kind of a silly question, it's just that she doesn't look like she has any Chinese heritage at all but I'm guessing she's half Chinese from her mother's side, and her profile states she is able to speak Cantonese. I wonder if she'll be another Christie Bartram...

I also think that nobody really stands out in this batch...not like I've really payed much attention to MCT before, so I don't have a clue about what the average standard is. #10 Elli though has a very pretty face! Nevertheless, her height will bring her a few complaints...#5 is quite good facially, and nice height too. Maybe she'll be the winner

Agree with pie. #1 2 3 4 5 7 8 9. are all below average.
The commercial on TV is so scary. Only #10, and Elva look better; yet elva looks too fobbish, doesn't stand out, but she does among these 10 candidates. Elli has a very cute face.

I disagree with you guys...your just jealous
i think the girls are the prettiest bunch in a long time..look at last year!
if the judges base their opinions on looks i say :
#1 Elli
#2 Elva
#3 Lily
i pick elli #1 because i think when ppl see her they will think "holy &*#%!, she is chinese wa!" She gives chinese a differnet meaning
i pick elva as to because she is so sweet looking and she has a lot of support in the chinese community , i sasw her friends at p.m standing there with a phone book voting for her
#3 Lily , has the perfect body but i do agree her face is a little flat, but she is has the bodya dn the height , also i dont' think she is NOT "typical " like Julia ,Ya Lan and Anita
If they pick on personality

Hkbeauties was right elli has a quality that will captivate the audience but her chinese will cost her marks
Jessica is the most confident without being concieded, also very classy
anita is the best spoken , but comes off concided which will definatly cost her marks..and someone tell her to shut up about being in eng. am i too! big deal!
