'hot door' or 'favorite' doesnt always necessarily mean contender, honestly its truly a loss not to have vicki competing but even if she was i personally dont think she would of won, maybe top 5 even possibly runner up but not 1st place, of the canadians i think crystal and elva stood a better chance, no offense jus my opinion. remember last year and the year previous to that the 'hot doors' didnt win.

I heard a gossip say that MIss Montreal leave the pegeant competition under TVB internal people advice Miss Montreal to do so, TVB people said a lot of rule or contract to Miss montreal, advise her not to join MCI

I personally think that, TVB want MHK to be winner, so not allow Miss Montreal as big favourite, i heard this from one of my freind who is a commitee member for TVB MCI 2006, she said that to me just now because today is final, so reporter cannot said anything else.
