Rana, is Aimee the first MCT contestant to win MSHK?
Also could you give us a list of MCT and MCV that competed at MSHK?
What do you think?
MCM 2001, Amanda Boll is the first and so far MCM to participate at MSHK. If Amanda did won MCI 2001, I wonder will Amanda get to participate at MCI 2003 (representing HK, and winning MSHK 2002)? Or will Amanda even get to compete at MSHK 2002? If she did, than she would have been the first MCI to compete at MSHK.

from memory.. mct - mhk debbie wong : 1st ru at MCT 96, semi finalist at mhk 2000 emmy choi: unplaced at MCT 97, placed top 5 at mhk janet: mct 04 #2 aimee: mct 04 #7 what not many ppl know... mhk 2005 #5 camille was also in mct 04 but dropped out after the official shots were taken. such drama that yr there was at least one more girl who dropped out before #9 juliet joined. it was def. not a good yr to enter if u wanted to win LOL mhk to mct - judy to: mhk 2002 #9 & #5 at mct 2002. unplaced at both!  |

Thank you, Rana for your data. I didn't know Camille was in MCT 2004 but withdrawed. So Juliet and Camille withdrewed, right?

I have a question, Aimee Chan (No. 7 in MCT 2004) and Janet Chow(No. 2 in MCT 2004) both didnt win in MCT 2004, how come can win in MHK 2006?  which mean MHK 2006 all the participant is low standard!!! And Aimee Chan lose to Lena Ma(No. 5 in MCT 2004 & No.12 in MCI 2005), And Lena Ma(No.12 in MCI 2005) didnt win any awards in MCI 2005, it is impossible for Aimee Chan(No. 2 in MCI 2007) to win any awards!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If Aimee Chan win(with TVB help), then how come she didnt win MCT 2004 with Lena Ma? |

Your logic/reasoning makes no sense. Consider that as people get older, they mature. After participating in a pageant, you GAIN more experience and learn how to present yourself in a better manner. It has been 2+ years since Aimee has appeared in MCT till' now. Plus, you can't compare Lena's performance in MCI to draw conclusions that Aimee can't win anything. They are competing at different times against different people!!!!!
Btw, if you are soooo against TVB and the whole "helping MHK win something at MCI" then, why don't you make your voice heard to people who are in a position to do something. Instead of coming to a forum and posting again and again under many different name/alias with the SAME comments? If you can't tell by now, I don't think anybody really agrees with what you say.
Sidenote: I really wish the moderator(s) can do something about this... So many different accounts made to post the same thing over and over again. It's getting very annoying. *sigh*

Why only MCI contestents coming to read our message only?
Why not TVB internel people, like judge of TVB?
They should understant that it is a FAIR pageant. :evil:
Others countries citizen, please grap the opportunity to held MCI, why always TVB held it? MCI always held in Hong Kong where it really suit MHK fodd, weather. And most funny part is that they claim themselve to be friendly and "grap" the prize of Miss Friendship. Others contester will wote MHK because they always ask where have nice food to eat, where to play in Hong Kong. MHK seemed to be freindly because it held in Hong KOng.
Others countries should have equal chances to held such a world class pagenat.
Please make it fair and i do not want to see HK reprensent get any advantages from it.

Why are you so adamant to bring TVB down? If you really want to complain, why don't you actually write to TVB? For your information, this year's MCI is NOT held in HK, it is held in China.

omg not many things in life is COMPLETELY fair. Besides dont you think its unfair that some people are born more blessed in the looks department so that they're able to compete in beauty pageants, isnt it unfair that they get an education to be able to sound intelligent, and MOST of all isn't it unfair to leave a handful of judges to decide who miss chinese international should be, after all they will have their subjectivity and bias towards what they view as beauty, elegance, wit etc.
Besides since TVB is the one who holds the event they have the right to be as unfair as possible, hell they have the right to make miss hk the winner of every award every year because they make the rules, but the thing is they dont because that's bad for their image and viewers.
But I can see where you're coming from, its natural for miss hk to deserve alittle more favour even if its subconsciously in the judges or organisers minds but that's just life! Just like how its unfair that prettier people tend to get more attention and better things in life than someone who is less attractive. So we got your point so you can stop with the spamming of negative comments please.

TVB always choose the cloths especially swimsuit that best suite that year MHK representative size. They will ask MHK representative to try to wear that year swimsuit cloths fist or other clots, if look good, and then take it. Because TVB want MHK representative to look good and extra good compare to others, NOT FAIR>
If that year MHK representative do not have talent, then that year MCI no talent competition part.
If that year MHK representative can sing well, then have singing competition.
Just that simple what TVB want to win,.

I don't know what to say Mcimci. Everything is about TVB or either Aimee, TVB gets at least an award, TVB only helps Aimee, etc. In the article in Orisun, the judges said that they will not give extra points to Aimee. Mci, you will never give up saying that Aimee has an advantage. The only way for you to believe that Aimee won fair and square is by the scores. Do you need to see the scores personally and to check who has more points? Or will you criticize how Aimee has 10 more points than Miss Toronto? TVB owns MCI. They CREATED it. They could choose the judges. They can choose who to win. I guess by the way you is saying how unfair it is, Aimee should not even compete, or maybe no Miss HK should compete at MCI. Or maybe there should be no MCI pageant at all? You are welcomed to this forum, by many hope you can discuss nicely about the pageant. That's what we want.

Ask a question yourself, will you say i as judge will help MHK in final because MHK is from HK. verbally say does not mean correct, for how sure judge say is correct???
TVB sure ask judge to say that, of not reporter will say judge from TVB, help MHK
as a reader, I already assume the judge will say that.
Actually if I as a judge, I also can say I is Miss New York relative, I will help her, then will you believe?
