Though Aimee is representing Hong Kong, she was born in Toronto and graduated from OCAD with a degree in Graphic Design. We are all proud to have a Canadian won the MHK title. We will be equally proud if she end up capturing the MCI 2007 title. Go, Aimee go!

tomtom: It's not fair for you to say something like that without ANYTHING to back up your statement. If you happened to watch the clips of her pageant (which are on the website fyi), she was very calm and poised during Q&A. Her walk was definitely one of the best and her talent (writing/singing her own song) is impressive. So don't say she "cheated" her way into the contest and title. She deserved it! Calling somebody a dog is rude and uncalled for.

I just saw the talent clip of Serena at Miss Chinese New York. All I can say is...WOW!! She is so brilliant on the piano that she really commands your full attention during her performance! AND she has a great voice!

Current results: 1st place: Aimee Chan (Hong Kong) 2nd place: Yvonne Chapman (Calgary) 3rd place: Erwina Chanson (Tahiti) Voting will close at 12:01 a.m. EST on January 19th. Erwina chased up to being 3rd place in both Miss Photogenic and Miss Popularity in the last few days. From beginning to currently, Aimee and Yvonne had the top 2 lead for both catergories. Ok... THIS IS IT! I'm done and fed up with you. Mcimci, please take your foul-mouth and ill manners elsewhere. I am sure I am not the only one who feels like telling you that: You are NOT appreciated on the forum. It's one thing to try to push your belief onto us, but then to bash a contestant like that is rude and uncalled for. What you say has no merit whatsoever... what/who gives YOU the right to speak about any contestant like that, actually.. what gives you the right to speak about anybody like that? Who are YOU to call somebody ugly? She won MHK, which means she has the beauty and intelligence fit for a Miss Hong Kong title holder. She was in MCT because the organization deemed her worthy as a contender of the title.
And by the way, we can all tell that mcimci = the "new member" aime. So please, stop being so immature. If you are here to constructively and respectfully discuss Miss Chinese International, then you're welcome here.. but if you are here to just be disrespectful to contestants, then please leave.
