 This is a pic from today's Apple Daily, showing Aimee going to join the other girls in deciding their contestant numbers (through random draw), clothes fitting and doing hair-styling work. The girls will formally meet the media tomorrow (looking forward to this!). According to newspapers, Aimee looks great and looks really ready for the competition. |

just putting one mainlander in the competition and change the whole pageant name? so ridiculous!! it's really "change soup not change the medicine"!!!

And the one girl from Nanning is having problems with her Visa...so she might not even participate in the pageant. So then they would have changed the name of the pageant for nothing.

I think there is going to be another contestant representing Pearl River from mainland China.

Amiee looks so beautiful!! The Chinese caption on one of the websites said that she had successfully slimmed down. I was quite shocked because I didn't think she needed to lose anything as she was evidently really thin in MHK already!

It is really amazing that the contestant do appear to be fatter than in real person. Most people have the opportunity to view or read about the pageant on TV or newsprints only, and then will judge the appearance of each contestant just on that basis. Poor girls all want to look great in front of camera and TV screen. That is why all of them want to be thin and slim.

I truly agree with you, TT and Charmaine. I thought there will be a lot more Mainland China delegates participating since the name will change. There are many delegates in China that can represent (take the cities of Miss Asia for example).

So far I believe that there will be only two contestants from mainland China, one is Miss Pearl River and the other one is Miss Mainland China from Nanning.
