I just saw the link posted by the webmaster in the news section....I think miss Vancouver looks the classiest among the 5 other candidates. I believe she's a medical research assistant or scientist? She looks intelligent, classy, and well composed GO Vancouver! I'm waiting for miss montreal to arrive! she's another very classy candidate.

i'd say she's smart, if she's not doing well at school and knows her chances of getting into uni were slim and didnt want that to effect her chances later when competing at a pageant, she knows to use her chance now. also mci is the opportunity to get into showbiz, her ambition to become an actress right? random1, so about graduating, normally does the student have their 18th birthday during their last academic year of HS study which is between 1st september - 31st august the following year? To my understanding... their birthday should be between Jan 1st - Dec 31st. When i started school, the year of birth matters not the month of birth. If her birthday is before January... she is behind a year.

im in gr.12 right now..i graduate when im 17..but the actual age for graduation is 18. (in toronto). we do it by year. so the 2006 graduates should be born in 88..but elva is born in 87. quebec does it by the age you are entering the school year...so if you are 17 on septemeber 1st, 2005..you are grade 12..but if you are not..then you are grade 11.

really sorry everyone but i'm little confused, my schools determine entry by month of birth, 1st sept - 31st aug the following year coz our academic year starts from sept and ends in july but if its your last year then u finish in may to prepare for exams, get results in aug and dependin on results and if u want to continue studyin then u start college in sept. for example some1 born on aug 2nd 2000 would have already started kindergarten in sept 2005, some1 born a month later on sept 2nd 2000 has to start in sept 2006 (really unfair!) so in quebec its the same but toronto vancouver its based on year of birth? in that case when does graduation take place? aroun july? therefore ppl who hav their 18th bdays from aug - dec will graduate age 17? huge thanks if some1 can reply!

It is not fair as the pageant held in Cantonese¡¦s, as we all know, China and Miss International Chinese Pageant, represent Chinese should speak Chinese(mandarin) and not Cantonese¡¦s, not fair to others pageant.........
What you all think? Give opinion. Based on the last 5 years, all HK win, even without top3 is top 5. The worst is MCI year 2001, not at top 3, but gave top5 and also 1 alternative prize. How TVB done, all can see.
