What I didn't like was the fact that they emphasized the fact that Vancouver was the only one born in Hong Kong. It seems even Cantonese doesn't matter as long as you were born in Hong Kong. I bet the judges heard Eric Tsang's favouritism and chose Vancouver just to humour him. Even though Melbourne spoke Cantonese she was probably born in Guangzhou... so no win. Also rumoured that since Kelly Cheung went to Miss World, they need an HK representative.

Finally one reply!! Yes bookie, I agree with you. While I did think Gloria had decent looks, she was too skinny and her performance was average. If she didn't speak Cantonese, she might had made top 5 or 9 only.

It's a pity TVB doesn't send MSHK to Miss World but MCI...... it shouldn't work like that.
Kelly was a great rep., tall + model + great figure and she did really well in world (I think she barely missed the top 30).
As for Gloria.. I don't think she will stand a chance.
Hope TVB sends MSHK winner or 1st RU to World.
