The pageant is about to begin in just 5 hours, so quickly posting my predictions for Miss International 2011. I am pretty sure the results will be very similar to last year, the year before 2010, etc.. Usually the delegates from:
China, Japan, and Korea are most likely guaranteed a spot in the top 15.
Next, I think Venezuela, Colombia, France, Panama, Philippines, Spain, Vietnam (if she wins the Internet vote), Puerto Rico, Sweden, Mongolia, Belarus, and Bolivia
Strong bubbles: South Africa (if the org. wants a black representative in the top 15), Thailand (possibly internet vote), Hong Kong (very strong, I REALLY want to see her make it, hope height isn't a big issue), Macau (Asian delegates will dominate the top 15, she is a possibility too), Dominican Rep. (the representatives here usually perform well), Slovak Rep (striking), Poland (another country which is good), Indonesia (if 2007's rep. made it, she has a chance too), Brazil, and Costa Rica
Final predictions: Winner: Venezuela 1st runner up: China 2nd runner up: Bolivia (stunning)
Top 15 Finalists (no particular order): Belarus (5th, others in no special order) Japan, Korea, Philippines, Sweden, Mongolia, Spain, Colombia, Puerto Rico, and France
Top 23 Bubbles: Hong Kong, South Africa, Macau, Indonesia (great chance), Poland, Slovak Rep., Dominican Rep., Thailand, Brazil, and Costa Rica

Hope one of the top 3 wins the pageant... I favor Venezuela though since she was my favorite to win the national title last year. She should of won Miss Earth 2009.. now she may have the chance to be Venezuela's 7th Miss International.
Will it be possible? I have a feeling she will make the top 15 only, but I hope she breaks the odds and wins... China is also worth of the title too (Bolivia is beautiful too).
Hope HK manages to make the cut.. USA needs to too..

Lastly, as a way of supporting my country.. I decide to take out Macau and replace her with USA. I like Macau though too.. hope she makes it too lol.

OK, Ecuador just won... Indeed Miss International is one of the most unpredictable pageants in the world.. She wasn't in my top 25 list (I noticed her but didn't add her..). Hope Miss World would produce better results.
